What are Ombre Brows and the benefits?
Ombré Brows is a semi-permanent eyebrow shading technique. It uses a machine to place thin dots of pigment into the skin, creating a soft-shaded brow pencil look. It is the best option for sensitive or oily skin, gives the appearance of fuller and more define brows, and it requires fewer touch-up appointments!
How are Ombre Brows different from Microblading?
The most significant difference between microblading and ombre brows is how the pigment is added to the skin. Microblading is making short hair-like strokes and ombre brows are small fine dots that vary in concentration while giving the look of a powdered brow.
Does Ombre Brows Hurt?
The ombré shading technique is said to be gentler than microblading, because the needle isn’t going as deep into the skin. Still, the process starts with topical numbing. At Lucia Lash/Brow New York, Philadelphia, Stamford, and Park Slope, we will then draw on your brow so that you can see the exact placement of the shading, before using a small machine to start applying the pigment. The process can still be uncomfortable, but it can be easier to get the perfect placement of your brows.
