What causes sparse brows?

When you look in the mirror, you may notice that your eyebrows are not as full as they used to be. Less hair in the eyebrow area is disappointing to women and men alike. An ironic fact is that many women spend a great deal of time plucking, waxing or threading their eyebrows when they are young, only to bemoan the fact that their eyebrows are sparse when they are older.

There are many reasons that we experience hair loss of the eyebrows. Some factors that contribute to brows that are less than full include:

・Hormonal changes
・Genetics
・Years of overplucking and removal
・Nutritional deficiencies
・Normal aging of hair follicles

Using cosmetics such as eyebrow gel, pencil, or powder is one way to correct this problem. However, this is not a foolproof method, since it can be difficult to select the right color to match and look natural.

It can also be frustrating because it often takes a lot of time to fill in the brows while making sure that both sides are even. Luckily, Lucia Lash/Brow has a permanent solution that is available for this common beauty problem.

What is Microblading?

#1 Brow Treatment In NY,Philadelphia area

Having sparse, thin, and uneven brows is a challenge that many face today. Even with the rising popularity of microblading, most people don’t know that you can have perfectly fluffy brows that look natural.

Microblading is not the same as a traditional eyebrow tattoo. With microblading, we draw each hair stroke one by one to create a very real looking eyebrow. This is why getting your brows microbladed with Lucia Lash /Brow can be a life changing experience.

What is Nano Microblading?

Nanoblading is a more precise version of microblading. With nano brows, the artist uses a single-needle device, the nano needle machine, which works like a tattoo machine, but uses an extremely fine needle to inject pigments into the epidermis. The nano needle is flexible and as thin as a hair. The most common thickness is 0.18 mm.

What are Powdered Brows?

PowderBrows is eyebrow shading technique performed with permanent make-up machine using the combination of dots and shading to achieve a very natural, soft powder, pixel effect. Unlike conventional permanent make-up, PowderBrows technique is building up the eyebrows with a special shading technique.

PowderBrows technique involves filling in or thickening of areas with a soft or darker color which varies in transparency. As opposed to creating microblading hairline strokes from scratch to cover bald or thin areas, the application of thousands of tiny dots of pigment inserted into the skin gradually, ensures there are no harsh edges and shading makes the look slightly softer.

This means that those with oily skin require more frequent touch-ups.

What is Ombre Brows?

Ombre Brows and Powdered Brows are a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo technique that creates a soft shaded brow look. It is recommended for all skin types and especially those who fill in their brows regularly with pencil or shadow.

What is the Difference between Ombre Powder Brows & Microblading?

While the microblading technique uses a handheld tool to carve small cuts into the skin, the ombre powder technique uses a machine that deposits thousands of nano dots into the skin. The Ombre powder technique is less traumatic and invasive to the skin making it suitable for all skin types.

Step by step for Microblading/Powder brows

Step 1 – Consultation –

We will take a look at your natural eyebrow shape, as scarce as it may be, to determine where we will be tattooing, to give you a fuller look.

You should arrive with your brows made up how you normally have them, so we can see what you like.

You can bring some pictures of your desire shapes.

We will discuss how we can create your desired shape with microblading or powder brows.

Step 2 – Measurements –

The nest step involved using rulers to measure the positioning of your new brows,

Don’t forget! Eyebrows are not twins. They are sisters !

Everyone does not have perfect eyebrows.

We will make your brows as symmetrical as possible!

Step 3 – Drawing –

Once we have agreed on the shape and overall finish you desire,

we will then draw on the eyebrows.

It looks too thick and strong with the drawing, but don’t worry.

It will come out natural looking after we wipe off the lines.

Step 4 – Mixing the color –

Your chosen color which should match your natural tones or your eyebrow colors.

Microblading -the color should match your natural brow colors.

Powder brows -the color should match your eyebrow pencil colors.

I know you have no ideas which color you should choose!

Don’t worry, we will walk through each steps and provide you the best color and designs !

Will be mixed and agreed before we start.

Step 5 – Microblading –

If you are worried about pain, don’t be too concerned. We will use topical anesthetic !

We use  pre-numbing  and during-numbing gel.

Most of our clients told us they “DID NOT FEEL PAIN!”

They were surprised how comfortable they were during the procedure…You don’t need to worry at all  about pain ! I will make you feel comfortable during the treatment!

All of the microblading/powder brow techniques from Lucia Lash/Brow come together to transform your eyebrows into a masterpiece.

Using a microblade, ink is implanted into your skin by making microstrokes that resemble hair to give you the brows you’ve always dreamed of.

Step 6 – Time to heal will be given aftercare instructions –

You will be given some aftercare gel that you can put over the top to stop water getting in. Remember the skin is open like a wound, so you avoid getting an infection.

After 5-7 days brows may start to itch as the skin is healing, which is perfectly normal – try not to touch them!

As they fade more you may well get disappointed but stay patient – it is normal for brows to go a bit lighter as part of the healing process, but then color will come back again.

Checkout our healing Process.

You will discuss the results so far and decide how much more you want to add in.

The process and after care is the same as before.

Lip

A lip tattoo is a professional procedure that involves inserting color pigments into your lips with small tattooing needles. This may come in the form of tattoo art in your lip area or perhaps permanent makeup as an aesthetic procedure called cosmetic tattooing.

PERMANENT MAKE-UP TREATMENT/ BEFORE & AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS ALL PERMANENT MAKE-UP PROCEDURES ARE MULTI-SESSION PROCESSES.

An initial application is incomplete until after a follow-up appointment, which should be scheduled approximately 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment. There may be an additional charge for the follow-up appointment after your initial application if it is not included in your service price. 1st follow up is recommended to be performed within 3 months of the initial application.

Two or three applications may be required to achieve the desired results. It is not ncommon to lose up to 70% of the color on the first application.

While your skin heals, be prepared for the color intensity of your procedure to be significantly larger, sharper, brighter, or darker than what is expected for the final out come. This is a normal and expected result of the application and healing process. The healing process will take a number of days to complete, depending on how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates and new skin regrows to take its place.

BEFORE THE TREATMENT:

・Do not take Asprin, Niacin, Vitamin E or IBUprofen 24 hours before the procedure

・Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks on the day of procedure

・If you are use to getting your brows tinted, do at least 1 week prior to the permanent makeup procedure

・Do not tan or sun bathe 30 days before procedure

・Do not wax 2-3 days before procedure

・Do not have any chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 3-4 weeks before procedure.

・Wash your hair before the procedure.

AFTER THE TREATMENT:

・Do not contact with water or any other liquids than what was recommended for 10 days after the treatment. Even a small drop which seems unimportant may expand the wound and scabbing will appear .

・Clean the area with a small amount of sterile water on a cotton pad 2-4 times a day for the first day. This will help remove any excess lymph, blood and pigment that may appear after the procedure.

・In case of dryness, but not earlier that the 3rd day, apply a very small amount of coconut or grape seed oil. Make sure your eyebrows are not greasy, but just moistened a little so you won’t see any residue of the oil.

・After 10 days you may use a gentle soap or non greasy facial cleanser to keep the eyebrows clean.

・Do not use other ointments, cream with vitamins or antibiotics on eyebrows during the healing process.

・No sunbathing or tanning for 4 weeks.

・No chemical peels, mesotherapy, dermabrasion, botox and any other strong treatments for 3-4 weeks.
