What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination is “a perm” for your brows as it gives them a set uniform shape for an extended period. A two-step eyebrow perming treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution. Laminated brows takes your unruly or thinning brow hair and smoothen it out while also lifting the hair in a more vertical direction.

At Lucia Lash we use Thio-free products which causes a lot less damage. Traditionally, the most used ingredient in perming is thioglycolic acid (often referred to as Thio). Thio is a salt and is the reducing agent responsible for breaking the disulfide bonds in your hair. Our Thio free formula restructures internal bonds without damaging the hair cuticle. Keratin is also an ingredient that is included in our perming solution. This makes the hair more damage resistant, keeps it strong and has a retention for up to 6 weeks.
