One of the most frequently asked questions we have received these past few weeks is “is the lash lift and brow lamination safe for pregnant women?”
To answer the question, yes! It’s totally fine to get a lash lift and brow lamination when pregnant! However, before getting any form of beauty service, as with anything else during pregnancy, we always advise speaking with your doctor first before scheduling your lash lift or brow lamination treatment. Additionally, let your technician know before the application process starts if you are someone who is prone to allergies or sensitivities. They are the experts, and they can talk to you about other possibilities.
Another advantage is that we, at Lucia Lash Philadelphia, New York, Park Slope, Stamford, and Honolulu, are using a very gentle perming lotion called cysteamine, a thio-free product with fewer chemicals, and it’s not damaging to your lashes and brows.
Lash lift or brow lamination with the tint will take an hour to an hour and a half. Doing both treatments at the same time may take up to 2 hours. As long as you agree and you can handle lying down for 2-3 hours, you’re good to do the treatments. No worries, because we will give you additional pillows for you to be more comfortable during your stay with us.. And also, though the products that we are using have fewer chemicals, they are not totally chemical free. As long as you can handle the smell of them, you can definitely do the service.
