Nanoblading is a more precise version of microblading. At Lucia Lash/Brow Philadelphia we use a single-needle device, the nanoneedle machine, which works like a tattoo machine but uses an extremely fine needle to inject pigments into the epidermis. The nanoneedle is flexible and as thin as hair. Some artists call it 3D nano brows because the thin strokes are indistinguishable from the natural hairs. The most common thickness is 0.18mm thick.
What is the Process?
The very tip of the needle, which has an ultra-small circumference, is then dipped into pigment. The color of the pigment depends on a number of factors including being a great match for your skin tone and something that is similar to your natural hair color.
The pigment is then dispensed gradually down the needles and into the skin to create flawless hair strokes and a beautiful, natural looking brow.
Is it Painful?
Nanoblading is not painful, the procedure can be a little uncomfortable , although it isn’t entirely unbearable, and it’s worth it for the results which can last up to three years depending on your skin type and lifestyle.
With Nanoblading, each stroke is individual and thin, so they are better incorporated into the natural brows and at Lash/Brow Philadelphia, Park slope, or Stamford,CT, we can modify the arch with much more precision. Nanoblading also looks more natural on people with thin eyebrow hairs, and clients with alopecia who have no brow hairs. Nanobrows are more suitable for clients with oily skin and large pores since thin strokes are more resilient.
