All About Brow Lamination
What is Brow Lamination?
Brow Lamination works similarly to a lash lift. It is a semi-permanent eyebrow trend that essentially involves straightening the brow hairs so that they all stay in the desired direction.
How long will it last?
Brow lamination is perfect for individuals who have a relatively good amount of brow hair and want to enhance their brows to give an illusion of thicker, symmetrical, and uniformed brows. The treatment lasts up to 6 to 8 weeks.
Can you put makeup on laminated brows?
How often can I have a Brow Lamination?
You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks or until your brow hair grows back into its natural state.
Pre-Treatment Procedures
Arrive at your appointment with your eyebrows makeup-free. This includes a brow pencil or powder, concealer, and foundation.
Shower prior to your appointment, as you will be advised not to wet your brows for 24 hours to ensure the solution properly sets.

Lucia Lash and Brow uses:
Less chemicals ◎
Less damage ◎
We use Thio-Free Japanese perming lotion, which is less damaging than regular perming lotion!
Step 1: Thio Free Perming Lotion
Apply carefully to one brow at a time, making sure to keep solution to hair area only. Cover brows with cling wrap to ensure the hairs are fixed in an upright position.
Step 2:Keratin and 2nd Solution
After leaving the solution on for your desired time, remove the cling wrap. Using a dry cotton tip, remove the solution from the eyebrows in an upwards motion, leaving no residue. Apply Keratin Nourish to both brows. Apply the 2nd solution to brows.
STEP 3:Remove
After leaving the 2nd solution on for your desired time, remove cling wrap. Remove the solution in an upwards motion using a cotton tip, leaving no residue. Once clean, eyebrows can be waxed or tweezed to achieve desired shape.
STEP 4:Tint (Optional)
Apply tint and remove when desired color/darkness is achieved. Apply Keratin Nourish and brush brows upwards.
Microblading VS Brow Lamination
Microblading is a more invasive and permanent eyebrow transformation that one might invest in for a brow look that will last for about 1-2 years.
Brow Lamination is less invasive and a temporary (6-8 weeks) perming treatment that might be a more affordable solution to achieve your desired brow look.
BROW LAMINATION
Instead of Waxing we will either tweeze or shave the brows instead. Why? Because this is much safer on skin that is sensitive.
Please note that if you are currently using retinol products, it’s important to refrain from applying them to your eyebrows for at least 7 days prior to your brow lamination appointment. If you are using retinol, please inform your technician before the treatment so that appropriate precautions, such as applying a thin layer of Vaseline, can be taken to minimize the risk of irritation.
Lucia Lash and Brow and its technicians will not be responsible for any results if you are using retinol.
