Microblading allows you to create flawless brows, but you must follow the Microblading Aftercare Instructions to ensure that you obtain the naturally attractive brows you desire.

https://lucialashandbrow.com/what-you-need-to-know-after-having-microblading/

Now that you have a better understanding of what to expect from the aftercare instructions, it’s time to break down what to prepare from the entire procedure. In general, you should expect a 30-day recovery time, a 6-8 week follow-up, and an annual touch-up.

Let’s take a look at the microblading healing procedure day-by-day:

Day 1:

It’s entirely natural for the microbladed eyebrows to be a little thicker and darker than usual. You may also have mild redness, minor bleeding, minor pain, and discomfort. These are all common side effects that will subside as the brow area heals.

Day 2-6:

You’ll see some scabbing a few days following the microblading treatment, and your brow area will be incredibly irritating. It’s critical not to scratch, pick, or peel the tough, thick scabs, no matter how tempting it may seem. It will eventually disappear as the area heals.

Additionally, the fine hair strokes could be hidden. You should keep the area clean and dry, but you should begin applying small amount of the microblading ointment to the face using clean hands and a cotton swab to aid the healing process.

Day 7-10:

The scabs that flake off will start to peel on their own around a week after the microblading treatment. Don’t pick or scratch the scabs. Instead, wait until they’re ready to peel off.

When this happens, you may notice a patchy brow area as the top layer of pigment fades.

Your brows will also appear lighter than usual, but this will gradually correct itself as the skin heals. All you have to do this time is WAIT.

Day 14-21:

Keep doing your skincare and cosmetics as usual. The brows will likely remain light for a while, but as the healing process progresses, they will darken and become more natural.

Day 30-40:

The healing process will be completed about a month after your initial appointment. The brows will feel much more soft and natural once they have fully healed. The color will be lot better than before, but it will still be far from ideal. Some patches may be visible, but they will be corrected.

Day 44-60:

Time for a touch-up. Your artist will make final adjustments and provide the long-lasting effects that make microblading so popular and successful throughout this time.

You should have a fair concept of how your brows will look by now. The good news is that your artist can now vary the pigment color and shape as needed.

The touch-up healing procedure is similar to before, but only lasts 7–14 days.

Day 365:

Your new microbladed eyebrows will stay for up to 18 months after your six-week touch-up before they disappear, but it is still necessary to have an annual touch-up for them to appear brand new again.

The frequency of touch-ups is mostly determined by your skin type. The skin color of people with dry or normal skin will stay significantly longer than those with oily or combo complexions. Expect additional touch-ups if you have oily or mixed skin.

Please follow these instructions because failure to do so may result in scarring, infections, and pigment loss or discoloration.

Both treatments are excellent if you want a lasting lash enhancement. But first, let us know the difference between lash extensions and lash lift.

Lash extensions are a well-known and well-proven way of enhancing lashes that has a loyal fan base of fanatics who never seem to take them off. Many people are so obsessed with their appearance that they treat touch-ups as a weekly errand.

The lash lift, on the other hand, is a relatively new procedure that has quickly swept over the cosmetic world. Many people are still unsure about the lash lift, but after you try it, I am sure you’ll want to come back every six to eight weeks for more!

A lash lift is a chemical procedure that gives your lashes a semi-permanent lift. It curls and lifts your natural lashes, giving them a longer, fuller appearance. It’s similar to a lash perm in that it’s quick, painless, and easy to do. At Lucia Lash/Brow Philadelphia, New York, Stamford, Park Slope and Honolulu, we used Cysteamine-based lotion (Thio-free), which is a lot less damaging to ensure the strength and health of your natural lashes.

For 6–8 weeks, you’ll have stunning lashes that will gradually return to their natural shape.

Lash extensions are fibers that are bonded to your natural lashes. Individual extensions are glued to each of your natural lashes with a semi-permanent adhesive, making them appear more abundant and thicker. The fans at Lucia Lash/Brow Philadelphia, New York, Stamford, Park Slope and Honolulu are all handmade using a special tweezer.

You may check via this link for the different types of lash extensions that we offer:

Is it possible to get lash extensions after having your lashes lifted?

Yes! You definitely can! But it’s preferable to wait 6–8 weeks for the lashes to be smooth enough to adhere properly. It can be difficult to get well-bonded, long-lasting lashes on excessively lifted or kinked lashes.

What is Brow Lamination? https://lucialashandbrow.com/what-is-brow-lamination-2/ https://lucialashandbrow.com/what-is-brow-lamination-2/#respond Tue, 23 Mar 2021 03:26:22 +0000 https://lucialashandbrow.com/?p=10205

What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination is “a perm” for your brows as it gives them a set uniform shape for an extended period. A two-step eyebrow perming treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution. Laminated brows takes your unruly or thinning brow hair and smoothen it out while also lifting the hair in a more vertical direction.

At Lucia Lash we use Thio-free products which causes a lot less damage. Traditionally, the most used ingredient in perming is thioglycolic acid (often referred to as Thio). Thio is a salt and is the reducing agent responsible for breaking the disulfide bonds in your hair. Our Thio free formula restructures internal bonds without damaging the hair cuticle. Keratin is also an ingredient that is included in our perming solution. This makes the hair more damage resistant, keeps it strong and has a retention for up to 6 weeks. At Lucia Lash/Brow we provide a detailed consultation before every brow lamination application, explaining the entire process.

Laminate brows is available at both our NY and Pa locations and will also be available at our future new location in Connecticut(more information on that soon!)
